About Us
Big Bee Convenience and Food Mart was established in 1996. Since opening the doors at its first location, Big Bee has successfully grown to over 50 locations throughout Ontario, Canada. With each new store, Big Bee makes a concerted effort to integrate with the surrounding community and has thus successfully established its reputation as “your everyday neighbourhood convenience store and more.”
Our success would not have been possible without community involvement. Through sponsorship, parades, festivals, and events within the neighbourhoods surrounding our locations, we have been able to gain a greater understanding of each community’s unique needs. We at Big Bee are “building relationships, one customer at a time.”
Community Involvement
Our success is a direct result of our commitment to support the communities surrounding our stores. We involve ourselves in the community through sponsorship, Customer Appreciation Days and involvement with local events. Some of the organizations include:

Big Bee Convenience and Food Mart offers the support of a large corporation, and its affiliates. The company grants you autonomy and provides opportunities to work with us to develop the store in a manner which both parties approve of. The strength of our corporation is rooted at the store level and as a result, we continue to grow as a corporate team. In addition to better pricing for our stores, we also offer rebate programs to each store to assist the location in meeting its profitability goals.
